Nahetal, Germany, May 2018. The monastery ruins of Disibodenberg Where the rivers Nahe and Glan meet is where Disibodenberg stands tall, providing an extensive view into the Nahe valley. Hildegard von Bingen was here. The Nahe region is named after the river that traverses the valleys of the forested Hunsrück Hills as it flows towards the Rhine. A landscape of vineyards, orchards and meadows interspersed with cliffs and striking geological formations. Photo by Frits Meyst / MeystPhoto.com
