Mayo, Yukon Territory, Canada, September 2014. Drying strips of fish in the smokehouse at the fishing camp. Band members of the First Nation of NaCho Nyak Dun return to their traditional fishing spot below the Fraser Falls on the Stewart River to fish for Whitefish and Chum . The nation has agreed to not fish salmon for the duration of a full life cycle of the declining species. So few salmon have reached their traditional spawning grounds that they are threatened by extiction. Photo by Frits Meyst / MeystPhoto.com
