Honduras, May 2014. Canoeing through the mangrove forest of Cuero y Salado. The Cuero y Salado Wildlife Refuge is located about 33 km east of the City of La Ceiba, and is lies between Zacate River the San Juan River. The best access to the refuge is by a historic train, built by the Standard Fruit Company AKA Dole. From the Bay islands on the Caribbean coast, via the lush jungles of the interior to the ancient Mayan culture of Copan, Honduras is one big adventure. Photo by Frits Meyst / MeystPhoto.com
